Jim has an extensive background in creating, developing and managing organizations,
programs, and courses. Jim co-created the Meals on Wheels program, started
an entire general hospital and served as a hospital administrator. He created
the Learning to Learn Program as well as several creative problem solving
courses. He also served as a management consultant for businesses and governmental
agencies, and conducted staff development training programs for schools.
Jim is active in the local scuba diving community. As a PADI Course Director
he trains and certifies beginning students through instructors. Jim also
manages Aqua Adventures, an eco-travel organization, and leads natural history
and scuba diving trips around the world. He enjoys other outdoor activities
including triathlons, sea kayaking, and mountaineering.
